Washing the face with rosemary water is a well-known popular remedy in the Girona area, but if we use wine instead of water it becomes much more effective. This remedy prevents wrinkles and ageing of the skin and also removes any blemishes due to prolonged exposure to the sun.

Preparation

Preparation: place 1 l of wine and some sprigs of rosemary in a saucepan and heat until it boils. Once it has boiled for at least 5 – 10 minutes, leave it to cool.

Dry and flaky scalp

Dry and damaged hair can be combated by making this natural hair mask that uses ingredients found in the area.

Preparation

preparation: crush half a ripe banana and add two spoonsful of honey and a few drops of almond oil. Apply to the hair and cover with a shower cap. Allow it work for 20 minutes, then rinse. Bananas increase the humidity of hair, soften it and soothe irritated scalps. The almond oil and honey hydrate the hair.
